- Reproduksi Secara Aseksual : secara aseksual pada umumnya dengan melakukan pembelahan biner. Dari satu sel menjadi dua sel, dari dua sel menjadi empat sel, dan seterusnya. Pembelahan biner diawali pada pembelahan inti atau kariokinesis, dan kemudian diikuti dengan pembelahan sitoplasma (sitokinesis).
- Reproduksi Secara Seksual : secara seksual adalah dengan cara penyatuan gamet yang berbeda jenis sehingga dapat menghasilkan zigot atau secara konjugasi (penyatuan inti vegetatif sel). Namun, ada juga Protozoa yang tidak melakukan reproduksi secara seksual, seperti Amoeba sp.
